The painter is Kanrin. But we don't know his details. However, we can understand he was in Tosa School from how to paint the leaves and chrysanthemums. And the screen has one more mysterypoint. There are some same stamp "Syurin Bunko" pushed in many places. Whether a past owner pushed it or is it the play of the child? . It is an interesting mystery.

Anyway painting and silver patina are exellent.

The gold patina became exellent by age. We always have our breath taken away by this patina. There is a few damage by the age, but the drawing is very good and It has features that the powerful characteristic of the Kano group.
And also size is good. You can hang it on the wall.
size 280-121(h)cm for each one.

The bipedal walking insects are lovely and happily. If you set bamboo insect cage, Insects ran away and seemed to begin a party.

Seemingly, it is not only quiet and calm but also feels the sense in the composition for which green of the pine and birds is effectively used.

The color of gold feels the age very much.

This a little hight size HINA Byobu that cannot had except in Daimyo family. And It remains perfect condition.
