The flavor of sticky caramel of the olden days is irresistible. Detailed engravings are still preserved beautifully within the relaxed form. In the 18th century where engraving had just started, this person's nose might have been higher than it should be but the edges have disappeared and looked more Japanese-like due to practice over the years. However he is a handsome man without doubt. It looks like the cord could be strung through the back to the thigh.

The strong energy sought from the territory of Shouchiku Tanabe seems to be condensed within this mass. Shochiku-san's works always give me a sense of space. That is, an extraordinary unknown world that I cannot speak much about. However, when looking at this work, I can imagine that all of the entrances and exits, and events such as constructions and deconstructions, are connected. The overall form is also extremely enticing. Being made of bamboo, the product itself is light, but at the same time it bears the profound weight of a stone sculpture.
